Come on mate that's like saying maybe we did just have an extra 55k deaths than usual. Not sure what your original view was on this but try and remain open minded. It's obvious from the evidence coming in the virus was around a lot earlier than first thought which is good news as it means a lot more will have had it and it's even less deadly.
Wayne says hello and isn't that the same thing?Well he said you can go and shag your partner so I reckon a granny cuddle is ok
Don't agree at all pal. It's far from "obvious", in fact it's downright implausibly unlikely, to the point I think it's absolutely wrong. Impossible even.
Everybody on Facebook now is posting pictures of themselves round their friends house, or posing with friends with their arms round each other. Or saying things like "first time I've seen my mate for so long" or "was lovely getting cuddles off my grandkids for the first time in months today"
I must have missed Boris Johnson's big announcement that social distancing has now been scrapped and you go anywhere and see anyone.
Reducing the social distancing to one metre is madness i think, let's see for a bit longer what the data says about easing lockdown so far, admissions are up since the 5th june last time I looked.Since test target day it is obvious that they are playing about with the numbers to steer it in the political direction they wantIf they "follow theeconomyscience" and reduce "social distancing" to 1 metre, that will be the signal that everything is to go back to normal.
People have flouted the guidance all the way through, but that will be the last straw IMHO.
But, you know, the economy trumps people's lives.
