The next Chinese virus to be released to the world is being planned.

It should be noted that China adopted an asymmetric warfare strategy a few years ago as they realized that they may lose a shooting war. Bio tech was one of the areas that they wanted to expand. An article published last summer.

Slight genetic engineering of existing animal viruses to jump species would be a perfect bio weapon that they could easily deny.

Firstly they need to try and establish why there is this spike in Leicester. And try and target the cause.
As over 70% of those infected are younger people I think it's pretty obvious. Youth gathering and ignoring any form of social distancing or face covering will be a large part of it.

England hospital data 37 deaths 5 from yesterday 11 of the 37 from NW.

Expected rise after weekend but actually is better than I feared.

Last week total was 46 - 15 from NW and 6 the day before.

Total UK hospitals last Tuesday was 55.

And All settings then was 171 (down from 233 week before).

More on England hospital data . Now 12 consecutive days with just the one day in there that was 10. All the others single figure on the day numbers.

10 were added to 28 June to make a two day total of 16

6 added to 27 June to make a 3 day total of 12 - the lowest 3 day total since March.

4 added to 26 June to make a 4 day total of 26 - also a new 4 day low since March.

3 added to 25 June to make a 5 day total of 38. Not a new low but now 5 of the last 7 five day totals are under 40.

Nothing significant added earlier So everything back to 17 June is still sub 50 deaths. And everything back to 11 JUne sub 60 deaths.

Wales added 3 more deaths and 24 new cases. Big drop from yesterdays case numbers. Last week on this day they had 5 deaths and 98 new cases.

N Ireland added no new deaths and 3 new cases.

So UK hospital death total is 43 compared with 55 this time last week.

And only 37 new cases in total with just England to add - which I think may be lowest UK total for those three nations - N Ireland, Scotland & Wales in a while.
