If there a worrying stats I guess measures are required but how can the ones proposed make sense when I can still go to the gym tomorrow but can’t have my folks sit in my garden
The gym, and all businesses, can (or should) control people on its premises to follow social distancing guidelines whereas households won't.

None of Trafford, South Manchester, Stockport or South Tameside have been in Cheshire since 1974; none of Wigan, Bolton, Bury, Rochdale, Oldham, Salford, North Manchester or North Tameside have been in Lancashire since 1974; none of East Tameside or East Oldham have been in Yorkshire since 1974... no matter what people still think their address is, no matter what County people would like to live in, no matter if people think Greater Manchester isn’t a real thing.

All ten boroughs are in Greater Manchester, not one street of any of those ten boroughs are in Cheshire, Lancashire or Yorkshire.
I did not know East Oldham or bits of Tameside were parts of Yorkshire once. Is that right?

Oh, and as for Stockport and Cheshire. It is technically in Greater Manchester but the post office still seem to often put Cheshire on the addresses there I have noticed. Even in the receipts given by the post office themselves. Possibly as some parts are in GM and others still in Cheshire so they stuck to that as a postal address.
