American studies has rejected the blood plasma idea as not being effective , trump has been hawking it as the new miracle cure
Blood plasma from those who have recovered to those who are seriously ill is effective though. Dishing it out to those who are not in the last chance saloon of ICU is the issue.
Mind you Monoclonal antibodies are better as it's less of a scatter gun approach. Manufacturing not yet up to speed though.

Trafford and Bolton not coming out of lockdown afterall.

It's more absurd than that - they did at midnight after rejecting the requests to delay it. Now they have had to reimpose it.

And the government are now calling it swift and decisive action despite it being the exact opposite as it was blatantly
obvious and stated on this thread days ago what should be happening.

All this has achieved will be to annoy everyone on both sides of the political divide and confuse locals so much they will be even less likely to do what they are asked.

That thread is a fucking joke. Having a different viewpoint is not a conspiracy theory.

Basically what it boils down to is, if you dont agree with us piss off to the other thread. And theres me thinking Bluemoon was a place for debate.
View points and disagreeing with factual evidence from, now, hundreds of studies are two different things.

Sorry typo on my part, that weekly not daily

using these sources
OK, as I've been told, this thread is for scientific facts so thank you for correcting yourself.

Come on Governmrnt wheels take time to turn. Burnham and council leaders said yesterday they shouldn't be released. Today, government agreed. For UK government that is lighttning fast.

In a pandemic if you take days to decide that cases rising in a week from 24 over 3 days to 124 over 3 days means re
moving restrictions is the way to go that is a recipe for a second wave.

You have to react to the data swiftly not after 10 committee meetings.

Anyone reading this thread days ago knew the data was totally opposed to releasing Bolton in particular. It was not rocket science. And if our government seriously have nobody reading the data and advising them off the back of it to the same level as a football forum then we are in a bigger mess than anyone fears.

it is quite apparent that testing isn't good enough yet. The farce in London yesterday with IT systems messing up London test availability is a case in point.
The 30 minute saliva tests that are going through approval at the moment will hopefully improve things. But with govetnment and health services that seemingly are useless without a process (and struggle with one) I am yet to be convinced.
