@Healdplace please take this is the spirit it is intended, this thread can be all consuming , i used to do all the numbers at the beginning and it wasnt healthy in hindsight , take a look at the rest of the threads as well, it will do you good

Scaremongering at its worst.
A virus is invisible
A Pandemic is not.
Turn off the tv for a day...look around .
Look for any evidence of a killer virus..ie folk dropping dead, fighting for breath, corpses lining the streets, etc etc ....

The power of the media.
Alongside..the Weakness of the human brain.
Get your Face Nappy on,and spread more fear anxiety and depression.

Your doing a marvellous job....for someone who "used" to work in the media.
Have you anything to say about City?
What. A. Dick. Head.
Why not fuck off to the conspiracy thread?
It’s made for idiots like you.

Thank you and I know you mean well and I appreciate it. I do look at other threads. I just rarely post on them. Eagerly follow Tolmie's posts on Messi. But I can assure you I also have a life outside of here and you would likely all be amazed if you knew what it entailed. But that I am afraid will not be shared.

N Ireland data

Sadly 1 death and 71 cases (0.95% of tests).

The weekly tracker of cases is at 463. Still high.

This compares with last week as 0 deaths 47 cases (0.5%) and weekly average of 354 cases.

THe number in hospital today is 20 (up 3 from last week but two down on yesterday).

There are however 3 on ICU ventilators v 1 last week.

21st March ( the little peak at the start of my guide line ) was 938 cases.

Obviously not taking testing quantities into consideration. ( about 11k a day 1st of april vs 180k odd now )

The ONS forecasts it by sending out thousands of tests to random households I believe, which has remained consistent. They estimate over 100k a day at the peak. The positive test figures can't be compared unless you start doing some fancy maths calculations and throw number of tests, number of positives, number of hospital admissions etc into the hat.

Unbelievable - just heard a Bolton MP on the BBC news seriously say that he has only changed his mind on the lockdown today as the data showing an increase is so recent it has only just appoeared and he has yet to study it.

That is ridiculous. Ifanyone reading a football forum three days ago could read on here what was happening we are in huge trouble if our politicians running these things appear to be unaware of what is happening in the town they are elected to serve!

The BBC even saidthey had to reshoot the interview this morning as just before in the first take he had insisted there was no data supporting them to stay in lockdown.
Unlike you he probably wasn't aware of the rise in cases over the last few days. Communications have to be improved

So UK hospital death total is 9 (possibly 8 - it may depend on the NI Case as it is not clear where or when it happened). Last week it was 12. And the all settings later rose to 16.

The new cases today without England are 269 - possibly the highest recently.

Last week it was half that at 148 and England later added 900 to have a UK total of 1048.
