Regional scoreboard today suspiciously interesting
And pretty good for the NW - assuming not another cock up somewhere in the testing which has to be possible.
London 1457 - up from 1252 yesterday to highest total outside the big add on days with the missing data
Midlands 1903 - huge rise from 928 - higher even than the days when the catch up data was added.
Yorks 1160 - big drop from 2347 and lower than the catch up days.
North East - 1084 - down from 1127
And North West 2471 - nearly 2000 drop from 4448 and again way below the catch up days and around where it was over a week ago when we now know data was missing.
Has to beg the question is something wrong again with the data up north or is this a real big fall? I am finding it hard to trust these numbers up here as they seem unusually good and could represent the sudden fall of 3000 in the UK total.
Comes to something when data looks too good to be true and you doubt it as real. Not just say we had a good day.
Unfortunately there are some pubs that are very lax about enforcement of the rules. This is why all pubs will suffer. Authorities should be closing down the ones that don't comply and leaving the good ones open. That way the good pubs benefit all round.
Has anyone asked her view on whether it is a barm or a mcmuffin?

Looks like we might need to close hospitals next.....
Oh sorry.... I’ll cancel the book and go straight to stand up.
The GM scoreboard is interesting too. Huge drops. Though as True Blue says maybe the student problem is controlled and that has had a big impact as the biggest fall is in Manchester.
Odd to see Stockport worse than Oldham and Bolton mind you. Though relative as all are well down. But there are many numbers better than at any time since 7/10 days ago. When we know the data was too low. Hence the niggling doubts.
Hopefully it is indeed the student scenario not a glitch.
Anyhow total in GM today first sub 1000 in a week at 941.
So yesterday was 1845 out of 4448 NW (41.5%) today it is 941 out of 2471 which is 38.1% - first under 40% in a while and actually back to where GM was as a proportion of the NW before the data mess ups started.
As a percentge of the UK cases total the GM % has been shrinking fast.
Over the last few days as a % of the UK number GM has fallen from 13.0% to 6.8% today.
Andy Burnham should wave those falling numbers in front of Boris.
Yes they do and have posted that, where is a student most likely to pass it on to somebody that requires hospital treatment? You keep saying this but don’t produce the evidence.
You do know a student who caught it at uni may pass it on and that person may end up in hospital, you have thought of that yes?
You wish what? The thread was all about ‘kaz’?
