I think herd immunity has always been the plan, they didnt expect so many people to die early and i think they shit themselves but have gone back to it , no need to send the students back , you and i will know about the open university, no reason they could not have done that remotely and got their grades . Uni experience is a poor excuse , especially going into winter

many courses cant be done online

My daughter called me last night all upset and worried. There was a funeral held nearby to where she lives (20 miles from Glasgow), and attendance was more than permitted. She knew the bereaved family. A 15 year old attended and to cut a long story short, he picked up Covid and inadvertently passed it on to both his grandparents, who tragically died from it.

Most people would agree lockdowns aren’t the primary solution and that’s why having a proper system for test, trace and isolate was so important. Instead, our country went don’t the route of trying to develop an App rather than addressing the problem.
