No numbers today by the way. Either they are still hunting for them down the back of the sofa or they are very late. They have not posted an excuse (sorry, I mean reason) as yet.

When this last happened they put them up very late at night after they spent all night adding thousands of cases they had not counted before if you recall.

Yesterday's numbers in the NW were surprisingly good though if you remember - especially in Greater Manchester.

But we obviously have too competent a government to let that happen again a few days later. Perhaps they are too good again today to justify imposing a lockdown and so having a rethink before releasing them?

No I don't think that is likely either.

Then we should not have let them go there then but money, as usual, talked.
If only it was that simple, and black and white. None of it is and everything has to weighed and balanced, pros and cons, look at bigger pictures. Then a decision made. I don’t agree with many decisions but can see there are 2 sides to these things and whatever is decided will bring different problems one way or another.
You only need to look around the world many decisions we make others have made other conclusions, but many have also come to the same conclusion about how to act.
By the way aren’t you arguing about getting back to normal because money?

Not suprising, infective government message and no stringent checks on those isolating has led to many people doing it wrong or those that flout it not being sanctioned.

Add some businesses and institutions trying to survive ignoring gov instruction and not isolating teams if one person catches it in their teams and nothing is working effectively.
Yeah blame it on the government rather than ourselves. Social distancing rules have not been followed for months.
