That’s true to a point mate.It needn't be as bad as you portray if people would look after others

I am yes. But unis have taken on students and should now be teaching them properly not via Zoom or whatever other app. Not having them in halls of residence but classrooms. Life had to go on imo.If only it was that simple, and black and white. None of it is and everything has to weighed and balanced, pros and cons, look at bigger pictures. Then a decision made. I don’t agree with many decisions but can see there are 2 sides to these things and whatever is decided will bring different problems one way or another.
You only need to look around the world many decisions we make others have made other conclusions, but many have also come to the same conclusion about how to act.
By the way aren’t you arguing about getting back to normal because money?
It’s mainly people who refuse a comparison between Sweden and New Zealand. Even though they said we should look at European Countries like any other nation across the World.I find it astonishing how many are still banging on about this herd immunity and Sweden. Sorry but other being as thick as two short ones I struggle to come up with a valid reason.
Wow you've fallen for it big style.Yeah blame it on the government rather ourselves.
True to a point mate but many students were board off their Tits at home and were looking forward to going to their Uni towns / citiesThen we should not have let them go there then but money, as usual, talked.
I think there should be some teaching / learning going on in the open air where there are less risks than being in the classroom. Many tutorials could be held in parks near Unis to reduce the risk.I am yes. Anyway I’ve got my opinion, differs from most on here I accept, but not discussing it further tonight. Peace.

I do too, but unfortunately, it's those that aren't complying that are forcing those that are to close.I believe in keeping bars and restaurants open as long as they comply With the hands, face, space Rules btw.
There is some teaching going on, my son is doing mainly internet, but has done some small group seminars in the library in small groups. He has also said some courses are still doing some lab work etc, again in small groups. Plus by being on campus he has access to the library. Not saying he couldn’t work from home but he’d still need to travel up occasionally. If he was home he’d still be going out meeting people too, and if he got it bringing into home to us.I think there should be some teaching / learning going on in the open air where there are less risks than being in the classroom. Many tutorials could be held in parks near Unis to reduce the risk.
