Rich people who have earned I don’t mind it’s the rich privileged ignorant ones I can’t stand. I deal with these types sometimes at work and they’ll be the ones that will thrive through the pandemic. The rich get richer and poor poorer at times like this

Remember the skiers in Italy last year lol bringing the virus back

Seems like it might happen again. Why have they been allowed to go skiing and risk bringing it back again. I am fed up with living like a monk while others just carry on doing what they want when they want. I want my normal life back, as we all do but it seems not all of us are giving up our freedom to help fight this virus. Some are still having holidays etc, whilst others are relying on foodbanks.

The rest of the data unfortunately is not any more encouraging today.

Scotland (deaths not reported - will be big catch up tomorrow)

Cases 967 at 12.2% positive from just 8.8K tests

Last Monday was 1504 cases at 6.0% positive.

Northern Ireland - this is the past 48 hours of data (so times x 2)

Deaths 20 (last Monday for 1 day was 7)

Cases 1634 (last Monday for 1 day was 555)

England hospital death details are sadly evidence of the rising death numbers - highest Sunday data since the peak in April.

318 deaths with 43 from the NW. 14% of total.

3 wks v 2 wks v last wk v TODAY :- England Total / NW Total / NW % of England Total

190 / 15 NW / 7%

179 / 23 NW / 14%

190 / 22 NW / 12%

318 / 43 NW / 14%

Sunday data reported Monday always low due to lack of weekend let alone Christmas registrations so this is a bad number.

But NW proportion not yet going up in any obvious way.
