small businesses especially bakeries and smaller shops could possibly offer delivery to the isolated and vulnerable. relieves pressure on bigger supermarkets( though doubt it with the idiots out there) , brings in valuable revenue, saves the vulnerable being out in community

I am sure that I read they are only confirming deaths to the corona virus if the people had no underlying conditions, so if someone with Cancer dies as a result of the virus it gets recorded as Cancer.

I was under the impression the virus is harmless to people with no underlying conditions though?

Regarding less deaths to infection rates in Germany a couple of thoughts.
I remember HIV being a massive problem but were death notes actually recording HIV or was what they actually died with eg pneumonia being used?
Know nothing about death causes but my mother died during the MRSA scare and contracted it in hospital where she died. No mention of it on the death note and no way I could get it included.

In other words can death causes be misrepresented especially in older people where I note the phrase "underlying conditions" used. Is it possible Germany uses the " underlying conditions" as cause of death with this virus simply an accelerator in the persons death?

Good point. @karen7 mentioned that there will be loads of people here dying in care homes whose deaths go unrecorded and COVID-19 victims. Just "normal" deaths. There's big scope for variation in how countries count the figures.

That wouldn’t be shameful but it would be shameful if time proves they didn’t. Right now if this was Cheltenham (imagine letting that still go on only last Friday) it would be odds on they have. Wasn’t a rant either.

Yeah, and it’s even worse when your kid doesn’t agree with the standard milk. He’ll only have anti-reflux which is even harder to get a hold of. Anything else and it ends up being projectiled. And each tub of powder lasts him about 5 or 6 days. And you’re limited of course, so it’s a constant battle for food for him. You spend all day looking for just one tub.

What are people with twins/triplets doing?? You’d need one of those tubs every two to four days, but it can take longer than that to find one.
