I take your point.
I hope you didn't think I was being smug.
I posted in answer to a post about extended families living together in one house and I thought I would give my perspective.
I don't feel as though anything I have done to protect myself and my family comes with any guarantees.
Everyone should do what they can and the rest is in the lap of the gods.
I believe Is am doing as much as I can possibly do to safeguard my family, but I live in dread of someone in my family somehow being infected regardless.
I think I'm probably more afraid than the halfwits running around the pubs holding parties with their mates.
That was my point, no matter what we do there’s risk, I never took you as smug at all. I hope you and yours stay safe and sounds to me you’ve done all you can.

Lads and lasses, online shopping tip,
Amazon prime now
It’s Morrison’s basically, I’m sure most on here use amazon in case you can’t do new registrations.
Place what you can get into your basket today and try and complete order, likely it will say no slots available. Your basket stays as is albeit some items may be gone but you can add.
The way amazon work is daily workloads and route planning. Slots become available for same day delivery in the am. I’ve just done my order at 06.30 for today at 12-1300.
i got a lot of stuff I need without going mad.

keep this to those that may need it, don’t chuck it out to twitter etc, yesterday friends on here were struggling with relatives getting stuff.
when the panic dies down in the shops I expect you’ll definitely get next day with ease or same day if your an early bird.

Had a text of a mate who works in my local 2 days a week the rest he is out and about with people with learning disabilities. Bbq in 2 weeks behind closed doors at the pub in the garden.my reply ....are you fucking mental.

what will it take for people to realise how fucking serious this is now and will GET.

Some people are beyond belief!

If you haven’t done personally already, I would do so ASAP for as much of your time as is possible. Look at how Italy is now. That is more than likely how we will be in 2 weeks, if not worse, going off the different figures.

we can get through this, but we need to stay at home for 99.999999% of the time, only broken up by essential food shopping.
It's not that easy if you need to work

Supposedly no more new case's in China, would want another country to say similar as don't believe anything out of China with regard to this virus

People on Mrs Hef’s Facebook feed have been posting things like ‘where can we go and feed the ducks’ and ‘does anyone know anywhere that will be open for my daughters birthday in a couple of weeks’ - madness.

In regards to the daughters birthday party you could suggest the local ICU but to book now as they're getting quite busy. Unfortunately they will probably take it as a joke but you really can't help some people.

interesting article on the durability of covid19 and some good tips on transmission probabilities, expanding on previous findings... suspect the prevalence of surface to person transmissions may be higher than we first thought. Flu virus is no where near as durable as this one.

5th interview I’ve seen now this week with different experienced specialists on the frontline in Italy begging the UK to get their act together to avoid the same fate. Well worth a watch and it doesn’t have the ICU scenes the other ones have.

There is madness about but sometimes depends when you go out. I left the house at 7am to tend to a community garden (that I volunteered at before the virus stopped the group). I knew I wouldn’t come into contact with anyone at that time.

I then went to work on a friend's garden for the rest of the day but they just stayed in the house. When I’m not working I just stay in my house. Being self-employed these days means I can’t afford to stay in 100% percent of the time (unless a lockdown is mandated) and I’m mitigating the risks.

Sorry, I don't understand- are you doing your grocery orders of perishable and fresh food with Morrisons via Amazon Prime?

Yup and there should be sanctions on their government after this is over until they prove they will actually implement their crackdown on these practices unlike the bullshit they fed us last time - we can’t and won’t do it though - let’s see what other virus they can come up with in future for our children to sweep up.

Newspapers saying taking ventilators from vets, lock down got to be announced today for start Monday.
Don't be saying that Pluto! You'll start people panic buying!...Oh, hang on, they already have. That nurse in the widely seen video who couldn't buy fresh fruit after a long shift, there will be others like her, should put those hoarders to shame, but the selfish cnuts have no shame or morals. Before they stockpile any more fruit, milk and bread they should be made to eat the stuff they have hoarded first, even if the 16 loaves they bought last Wednesday are now stale with bits of green mold on. Times like this brings out the me, me, me, selfishness in certain people when everyone should be pulling together. War time spirit my arse.
