They had the MERS outbreaks in 2018 and 2015, SARS in 2003 and were hit properly by Swine flu in 2009.
So they have infrastructure that other countries dont, but also they have a massive cultural difference that we just dont have in this country because it's our first big pandemic in living memory.
And it's that cultural difference that matters.
