Probably because it should be in the covid political thread, not this one ? Put it in there and I'm sure you'll get comments. Not one fucking comment regarding this.... maybe it’s because we’re not surprised anymore.
Fair enough, I’ve not actually bothered with that one at all.Probably because it should be in the covid political thread, not this one ? Put it in there and I'm sure you'll get comments.
Cancer v covid is a silly comparison to try and makeIf it's about saving lives why was it ok for 3 million cancer screenings to be cancelled between March and September?
I'm stunned, dazed and still cant quite believe it, but your more than welcome : /Love it Bob as usual...
What date is it today ?Sorry, I can't copy and paste on this. Telegraph website from 3rd November had article on whether ICU beds are close to capacity or not.
Surely though, it only puts those not having the vaccine at risk ?
How am I more at risk, if I'm vaccinated ? (Obviously it could wear off over time.)
As I said earlier today covid is apolitical, it's affecting governments right, left, and centre much the same (even dictatorships where you can be locked in).Fair enough, I’ve not actually bothered with that one at all.

Yes I understand that, but the greatest risk is for those who don't get vaccinated, and if that is their choice it's up to them, most people who can, will, and those that can't will be extra cautious (as they already are) to avoid it.The vaccine is not 100% effective
There are groups of people who cannot be vaccinated ( immuno suppressed for instance)
Some people, inevitably will end up being missed.
Etc
Haha reminds me of when I was a kid I convinced my mate that if he cut a 26.1cm piece of string, pissed on it and held it next to his ear close to the Masts on Ashton Moss he'd pickup Piccadilly radio.

This is one those completely misleading ideas. Cancer and therefore the need to screen for it is a high risk to pretty much exactly the same group of people as Covid. If it's about saving lives why was it ok for 3 million cancer screenings to be cancelled between March and September?
True story? You've got to be yolking .....I went for the flu shot a few weeks ag and the girl asked if I was allergic to eggs.
I said "why? Are we going out for breakfast after"? True story.
WAIT WHAT? Im on a biologic immune suppressant, can't i have a vaccine? I can have the flu jab. Can't i just have it inbetween injections? The vaccine is not 100% effective
