Covid and travel discussion

If someone had said last year that going on holiday was to be made illegal noone would have believed you.
The language and aggression from the government is appalling on a lot of the pandemic issues and its rather disturbing that they are rushing through legislation without debate on a lot of subjects.
Disgraceful.
I'm sure there's method behind the madness.

I've already got posts on Facebook people boycotting holidaying in UK. They'd rather stay at home than holiday in their own country.

I agree with the other poster though. I foresee mass upheaval this time round. Not good.

Total joke.
The vaccinations were meant to be a passport to freedom and look at the situation, no better than 2020.
Exactly..its going to proper kick off, this will cause untold damage to people's mental health..

And I really cant blame them..

It seems in many ways the vaccines arent the passport to freedom as promised when they rolled em out.

my nannas old peoples home only let you stand in a car park and talk to her through an inch gap in a window with a member of staff present ensuring she doesn't dare poke her fingers through the gap for a bit of contact

all residents have had 2 jabs but when asked when normal visits can start the staff reply “no time soon”. So whats the point in vaccinating if they are still going to be locked away? Doesnt the vacs protect them from the virus.

its all starting to stink a bit now.

give people the power to make rules and they will make them with a gusto
