Covid

Didn't know which of the many COVID threads to bump and didn't think we needed another.
Are the vaccines/ boosters still a thing? I used to get text reminders to get one but can't remember the last. I think I've had 3-4 in total but it doesn't seem to be a requirement for travel and the reminders have stopped.
They’re still available, I had a text a month or two ago - they’ve combined it with the flu jab. The take up rate is now very low. I’m sure I read 8% of those eligible and only 15% in the NHS. I’ve decided at least for the time being I’m not having another as I don’t regard the current version of covid as a personal risk and it looks like big majority are thinking the same. I have a sister in Australia (She’s 74) who had survived ovarian cancer which had been remission for some years. Last year a rapidly growing tumour appeared (thankfully successfully removed) in between three-monthly check-ups. She is convinced it was caused by her 5th mRNA vaccine booster dose administered a couple of months before !!!

65 and over and certian other categories still get them.

I had flu and covid injections 6 weeks ago. A month after this I had my age related pneumonia jab.
Touch wood up to now I have never had covid.

My question is why the need for a 1 month delay between covid/flu and pneumonia injections.?
I'm guessing as each vaccination is a small challenge to your immune system having too many in one go could be too much?
