I've fond memories of holidaying in Crete.
Had an end of season break in Malia and watched the 6-1 demolition of the raggies in a bar.
Malia old town is lovely.

I've been to Stalis on a couple of occasions and enjoyed both ,nice beach,some good restraunts and a good place to relax.

I imagine People go there to get away from things like eggheads. I've been to crete and can confirm I didn't watch or see anyone watching it . This was two years ago
