It’s their choice, but I’d rather they decide not to go now and then see a team head out that is at least committed. The team needs fresh blood anyway and is arguably on a hiding to nothing, so it might be a painful winter but one that bears fruit further down the line.I can’t see the Ashes taking place if the players have to completely bubble for 3 months, with potential replacements having to isolate for weeks before being able to join.
I also think a fair few players won’t go, which questions the integrity of the competition.
