Yeah when Australia win 4-0 with Smith scoring over 900 runs in the series I reckon people down under will be more than ok with it.
Yeah Smith is a complete **** but unfortunately that won’t stop him finishing his careers as the best test batsman in history.

just watched the highlights and sri lanka was poor ? will like to add that broad has a new tool in his bowling outfit and running his fingers down the Kookaburra ball giving it a wobble ? a good tool to have in the ashes down under

spin is KING over in sri lanka and england should get a very good lead after a good start ? but we seen england lose wicket after root goes but 150 lead will be enough and england could win this early

Watched every ball this morning, some howlers from Sri Lanka - Bess didn't bowl well at all for me and he came away with 5 wickets.

Root and Bairstow's experience shined through with some sensible batting, you can tell how many tests these two have played whereas Sri Lanka didn't seem patient at all throughout their innings. If we get a lead of 150-200 I think we could win by an innings, long way to go yet though.

Just watching the highlights now (hadn't seen any of the coverage before now). What's with the outfield, that khaki type mottled appearance? It looks dreadful. Weather-beaten?

Not seen the pictures today, had TMS on the wireless. The pitches always look bad in Sri Lanka. They get horrendous down pours in Galle and have to place a plastic sheet over the entire pitch, they don't just cover the wicket. They also get incessant sunshine beating down on it. It is definitely not the lush green grass of England.

They said on the radio today that the Harrow school were playing at Galle when the Tsunami struck. The stadium acted like a wave break and no one inside the stadium died. They all managed to get onto the pavillion roof. That must have been horrendous watching everyone outside the stadium being swept away.
