I think Cameron Green looks a prospect and they have a much better keeper/batsman in Alex Carey. But agree overall. England has no reason to be fearful.

Jjust catching up on the Aus vs Ind final day.
An amazing day’s cricket. Similar to ours with Stokes at Headingley.
But it was with their B team.
Paine put back in his box. Average player who’s tongue is better than his talent. (Although that’s up for debate now)
Pujara needs some props for his role. Just being there gave the dashers time to think. He got hit loads of times, but kept coming.
For every dasher, there needs to be a cool head, unless you are Stokes.
The perfect storm happened against the Aussies.

England are no doubt improving at test level but they’ll be found wanting in India if Bess and Leach are our 2 spinners.
Our strength is our seam attack, the batting is slowly getting better but we still rely on Root and Stokes too much.
Not too dissimilar to Australia with Smith and Labuschagne, only difference is those 2 average 60+ whereas Root and Stokes average 49 and 37.

will be hard push if england want to win this test and sri lanka get over 300 on the board with there spinners
i smell a collapse happening in england first innings because we will try and bat time and overs and forget the runs
worst thing you can do over there is try and defend your wicket ? it will be a good test to try and bat normal and score runs because the up and coming India tour will 10 times harder than sri lanka ? they are on fire and they will have the captain back and a couple of bowlers missing from the Australia tour
