In lighter news the first T20 blast quarter final is on now between Yorkshire Vs Sussex.

The lineups are stacked with top players. Four of the top five bowlers from The Hundred for dot balls are playing!

i have been saying it since day one with root and i have took a load of stick for it on here
am old school and bowlers should be bowling to take wickets and not keeping the score board from ticking over with runs

some of the stuff seen over the years with root as captain is a joke and school boys cricket would not make them
Vaughan is spot on and not having a slip to India's number 8 and 9 speaks volumes. the captain should be going mental with the bowlers and their lines and lengths ? just aim and try and hit off stump and bail its simple

i can see nothing but england losing again unless the weather helps root will not change never has and never will
its easy street for him because the ECB don't give a shit about test cricket

Here we go again, Overton probably picked ahead of Saqib because he might nick a few runs, that worked well with Curran at Lord's! If Root has no confidence in his batsmen it may be a good idea to pick his best available bowling attack.
 
It’s like the 90’s all over again dropping players left right and centre not picking the right ones appointing the best player as captain when they ain’t captain material!

We going to be an average test team for quite few years!
