i think it's Crawley that is averaging 11 in calendar year 2021 and Sibley about 20, but not exactly tearing up trees

anyway, what do you think about giving Crawley time? he averaged 49 up to and including his big knock, and since then is in poor form over about 8 tests. Give him another couple against India?

Honestly I think it's the coaching, so doesn't really matter who goes in.

Random question but has anyone found that Radio 4 Long Wave (Has the test cricket commentary on it) is almost impossible to hear now whilst driving?

Not sure whether to blame my car radio just starting to struggle, my Bluetooth connectivity causing interference or 5G as it gets blamed for everything!

If true, and it’s as Vaughan predicted in the Telegraph this morning, then that’s Malan back in the Test side after an absence of over three years. He’ll be 34 at the start of September, so the selectors have mucked up another one.
