That would be fantastic. But, would the ECB be prepared to take a financial hit in moving test cricket back to terrestrial TV? I'm fairly sure that BBC, Ch 4 or ITV wouldn't be able (or prepared to) pay whatever Sky are paying at the moment.good shout matey

Seven years now since Robson’s Test summer. They both fell into that category of averaging around 30 but not being able to push on from there, and then the media say it’s time for someone else.

That's something I can’t answer, I'm afraid. Apart from the obvious, money.should england test cricket be on sky in the first place ?? why did the ECB sell up to them knowing its a limited viewing and not everybody has sky ? free to air test cricket would be good for many sponsorship deals even on the bbc

When I was growing up, our scout group used to be let in around tea time for free and watch the evening session before helping tidy up afterwards.
