They put Leach on to get through as many overs as possible as quickly as possible with the new ball 11 overs away at the start of play and the clock being the biggest pressure.

Need to get it in the next 10 minutes. Then they can have an hour before lunch to see off the new ball and then a 60 over, 230ish run chase.

I actually don’t think the number of runs matters that much at the moment as long as one of Bairstow or Stokes tee off.Lead need to get this last wicket NOW!
Put Lees at number 7 to sure up the innings if we need to save the game.
Regarding Leach do England think he will improve in the next 2 years? He has been around for a bit now don’t see an improvement in the wicket Column
No, but I think he's a very well liked character in the squad, doesn't mind getting going on tour and being away from family even when he's getting left out for a 5th seamer and with no test quality spinners in the country there's no one who really justifies replacing him.
