The likeliest outcome is the draw. Unless we have a stereotypical England collapse tomorrow! I can’t see the Kiwis setting England anything much less than 300, which would take near enough up to lunch to set that target. And England wouldn't try to chase that down at pretty much 5 runs an over.

We're only at about 70 overs today, new ball before noon tomorrow presumably. Jamieson presumably will be limited or unable to bat, so there's not that much left. England could get them for under 300 with a bit of luck

I think England losing is the least likely result, with draw favourite if the two in at the moment bat out the day.

Definitely put Bairstow in first if that’s the target. Might as well see if he can fluke a few early boundaries and reduces the chance of triggering a middle order collapse.

I have New Zealand happy and England happy Don’t know what camp I’d like to be in!

Oh can the English coaching and ecb tell Leach sorry lad if you don’t believe in yourself we don’t either so DO ONE!

This situation, so finely balanced, perfectly demonstrates why test cricket is the most satisfying form. If those three wickets can be taken fairly cheaply and fairly quickly, England can have a real go at winning this. On the other hand, they are well capable of having a real go at losing it. At the end of the Kiwis' first innings, you would have said that the second outcome was probable.

I hope I make a fool out of myself .

but honestly jack leach? !!

bring on root he is a far more dangerous than the plop bowl over the wicket
