I see that allegations of racist behaviour towards the Indian fans yesterday are being investigated by West Midlands Police and the authorities at Edgbaston.

Is it unfair to say that that city has a recurrent problem with this race relations thing, going right back to “rivers of blood”(1968)? Not that other cities don't have racism. But it seems to be particularly prominent there.
I'm sure the dinosaurs will be back to criticize the new approach as soon as we lose a game ;)The cricket that we are playing at the moment is extremely exciting and very brave. Great to watch.

The batting heroics have overshadowed a brilliant bowling effort on Day 4. India were 322 ahead with only 4 wickets down mid-morning yesterday. Many teams would have let their heads drop. Brilliant.

Anybody catch that Freddie Flintoff programme on beeb 1, quality TV getting some rough council estate kids interested and playing cricket?.
