True. It just seemed rather odd that he was bowling around 80mph after Warner fell early.

Maybe the speed gun is a tad harsh because Broad isn’t bowling quite as quickly as he did in the previous test matches either.

I wouldn’t be surprised if Australia bat us out of this game. Whilst I don’t particularly rate their batting line-up, these two are well set and the pitch is a good one.

There have been many batsmen with greater talent and flamboyance than Smith (Lara, Kohli, KP, Ponting, Tendulkar etc.) but his mental toughness and hunger for runs are ridiculous.
