If we avoid the follow on, not quite sure how the Aussies will play it. Add a quick 150 today and get us in before the end of play today for a few overs. 350 could be chased though seeing as we did it at Headingley.
I doubt it, the wicket is turning more and more, by the time England get out in the middle again 300 will be difficult.

A little Buttler masterclass here could make all the difference. Another 40/50 and it will make Aus think they have to bat a bit more sensibly.

If England come out and bowl back of a length rubbish i’m gonna kick the fucking telly in. Australia just showed us how to bowl in England, full and straight... including to Smith!

375-400 puts the game out of reach for us and basically guarantees them at least a draw. We will be back in bat 6pm tonight.
England won’t chase 250 to be honest but captains being what they are and with players scoring quicker than ever they will want 400 so they can set attacking fields all day.

It wasn’t.

Australia have just bowled magnificently since tea yesterday. Almost perfect and definitely too good for us at the moment. They’ll want 200 today and set us 396 for tomorrow and 5/6 overs tonight.

I’m not convinced any part of his boot was behind the line.

Numerous no-balls from Cummins have been missed today.

If we can keep the scoring rate below 3 an over and take regular wickets, Australia may be reluctant to declare today. Unfortunately, I think we’ll have to face 20 overs or so.

Unbelievable from Broad, absolute class. Hoping for one of his ten over super spells here. Let’s get Smith in in the next couple of overs! And keep the fucking ball at that length, even you Archer!
