Usual suspects failing again. Cook, Morgan, Buttler, Bopara. One good knock every now and then keeps you in this side

I agree with KP there cook is a poor Captain and shouldn't be in the 1 day team we will just have to wait till we get fcuked in the World Cup then he will quit the 1 dayers then..

We were woeful today. Shocking stuff and a team going nowhere in 1 day cricket. Bit late in terms of this world cup, like you say, but after it will be time to say goodbye to Cook, Bell and probably Jimmy in 1 day stuff, let them concentrate on test cricket, Morgan can go as well for me and Gurney isnt up to it. Let Root take over the captaincy in preparation for him taking over from Cook in another year or so at test level. Get Taylor and Hayles in, they both scored 3 hundreds this season in the 1 day cup but are sat on the side lines as Cook and Morgan cant buy a run and also Jason Roy or someone as aggressive as him.

They'll probably do the usual, drop a bowler or 2 and probably Bopara (who has been our most effective 1 day cricketer recently, who the selectors seem to blame whenever we do badly) and hope everything is ok.

Saying on Sky Sports Twitter page that an Israeli cricket umpire has died after being hit on the jaw by a cricket ball. Don't see anything on their website yet. What the fuck is going on in the sport at the moment?

Presumably Netanyahu will retaliate by randomly bombing cricket pitches for the next month or so. On a more serious note, I'm surprised it's not happened before tbh, you frequently see the ball getting smacked at an umpire and them barely getting out of the way. I have no idea why they don't wear baseball umpire style facemasks

How odd watching Mitchell Johnson's reaction to hitting someone on the head last night. He looked like he was going to cry. Someone should tell him that if hitting people on the head with a cricket ball upsets him so much, he should stop bowling 90 MPH bouncers.
