The worst thing about this top order for England is that they can't stick around and they don't score runs.

If they could last 50 overs but didn't score, that'd be one thing with the middle order England have.

If they only lasted 15 overs but scored 70 runs, then again that would be manageable.

But they just hang on for 20ish overs and score 30 odd runs.

Just saw two of the wickets on the BBC site. Mildly entertained that the commentators thought the Burns one might be going wide. Top of middle was predicted.

I'll give the batsmen the benefit of the doubt that they thought it was high. Brute of a ball to get though and Burns' playing line isn't pretty.
