Have to say since Root been captain the performances have gone more downhill for me he ain’t good enough ecb should get rid as captain after this Pakistan series or it’s going to get worse.

Don’t quite know which was worse beforehand: the media’s complete overestimation of this English team’s ability, or the complete underestimation of this Pakistan team’s ability. After last summer and the long winter, the former is inexcusable, the latter I suppose is just par for the course. After all, New Zealand were supposedly going to give England a shot at redemption!
