I have been on Lancashire League games with 10 people on, it is all levels of traditional cricket, no one is interested anymore. Was thinking last year that County grounds could do more to attract people ‘WFH’, a trend that is likely to continue. They have tended to invest more in terms of catering for the corporate guests, but if they were more creative with things like ticketing/catering/internet/charging stations, they could attract a different kind of audience.
The fixture list for next season has still not been announced, so I suspect it’s being re-written in light of current events.
Fixtures are to be announced in Jan after they decide to lets Yorkshire keep all their international matches. They were due to play Lanky in Scarborough last year, but covid brought it back to Leeds the week before. Better venue than wasteland north of Leyland where Lanky are planning their second ground.
