Would have been great to see a couple more records but Glamorgan are chasing promotion. Very small chance of winning from here though. They have declared, what a pity.

They should be demoted to the minor counties league for not going for the records.Would have been great to see a couple more records but Glamorgan are chasing promotion. Very small chance of winning from here though.
He won't be a happy bunny. They should have got word out to him that "you've got an hour to get what you can".They’ve declared!
Unbelievable.
The other bloke was on 191 too. Probably never get a double ton now.He won't be a happy bunny. They should have got word out to him that "you've got an hour to get what you can".

Just looked it up Al :-).Knowledge!
Glamorgan declared at the right time it seems, the extra points now giving them an 8 point promotion cushion.
No doubt they knew the plan was to declare at tea to save 2 overs, and were set a target to reach by then.
I heard it on the BBC radio coverage it's the highest score ever recorded by a side (Leics) that then lost by an innings. A gripping hour of radio; Leics coasting to safety with 5 down and an hour to go. Proper cricket drama.Outstanding performance by Glamorgan and great captaincy by David Lloyd ( not Bumble) . How many sides go near 600 first dig and lose ?
Not sure Jim but she was caught out too. Bit of a shambles tbh.Why are the commentators on the BBC calling that a run out? It's a stumping, surely. If it wasn't an actual caught behind!
It was given not out on the field and sent for an umpire’s review of the run out.Why are the commentators on the BBC calling that a run out? It's a stumping, surely. If it wasn't an actual caught behind!
Yeah, I realise that. My question is related to the recorded method of dismissal. In my mind, that would be a stumping, as there was no run attempted. As for the catch not being given, I'm sure that if Bouchier had got back into her ground, the Saffies would have reviewed the not out decision for the catch. It was given not out on the field and sent for an umpire’s review of the run out.
I’m sure that the other week a similar thing happened and they checked all methods of dismissal possible.
