Yes it worries me that there is that much white ball cricket it's affecting the test game globally.
4 day tests in the future?
I don't see any effort to save test cricket tbh, aus, eng and india, the big powers are happy at playing with each other most of the time and earning the major profits and aren't bothered about the bigger picture. On average the big 3 nations play 15 test matches on yearly basis while the average for rest of the nations would be between 7 to 8. Almost half and then there is this cancer of 2 match test series which imo is an insult to test cricket, banning 2 test match series would be a step in the right direction.

Had completely missed that Pakistan match.
Wow. That's quite a result.

As someone above said, brilliant or rotten, but when they're brilliant, they can be untouchable.

The high performance review of men’s high cricket is full of holes, but will weaken every comp to some degree..

One Day Cup - 6 rounds, substantially knock out in April so better players play. In reality in will start before the normal season when the warm up games were, and instead of at least 8 x 50 over games the only way it could work is 8 groups of 3 (6 minor counties) top 2 go through to last 16. Therefore you may be knocked out after 2 games at the start of April. Games reduced from 8/11 to 2/6 with most playing 3 or less.

1 home game for members guaranteed, was 4.

T20 back to how it was in 2008 ,09, 12& 13 - 3 groups of 6 play each other twice top 2 or 3 go through to quarters with worst first place dropping out.

5 home games for members was 7.

County Championship is the big killer, as 6 teams in Div 1 and only one promotion spot for the both Div 2s. It used to be 3 from 9 promoted, then 2 from 9 – now just 1 from 12 and the lottery of a play-off which may be drawn, and then count back on first innings scores etc or bowl out indoors . Once you drop out of Div 1 you could be gone for 10 years plus, and a lot of good players will end up stuck in the lower groups. However the ECB are likely to try and force all the good players into the best 5 teams, with another making up the numbers each season. Whilst reducing from 14 to 10 games, and used to be 16, it will mean a bleak future for 13 teams. The only way this will go through is if there is a big enough financial threat from the ECB.

5 home game for members, was 7.

Minimum home games now 11 or 26 possible match days, compared to 18 and 39 possible match days.

The “first class” friendlies in August are the type of games that happened in early April or against University teams when you had a week off. It does seem like more County players can be selected for the hundred, and there will be more slots for players not-drafted who then do well in the T20 blast.

It is similar to the European Super League proposal for Association Rules Football, there will be teams that benefit but everyone else will be left behind. Durham can be ruled out these days, but then there are 8 other test hosting counties who will need to cut each other’s throats to become part of the elite 5. As ECB players are more or less banned from playing for their Counties they won’t get any more rest, and the complete lack of 50 over games won’t help the ODI side. T20s being reduced won’t massively hurt the comp, but there will be a drop in income, giving more of an advantage to the 7 Counties who host the 100 games.

Needs a 2/3rds majority, but even the bigger teams like Warks and Surrey seem against it. The 9 teams who don't host test cricket will be against it but the ECB holds the purse strings as most of the money is generated by the national team and bails the counties out.

Great batting display by Pakistan but we do this after performing emphatically like we did yesterday, probably this will be biggest defeat in terms of runs while securing biggest win yesterday, typical Pakistan

Wood will be handy on Australian wickets, i really want willy to do well, i really like him as a cricketer, i think he was unlucky to miss out in 2019 wc squad, is he going to Australia?

He will, but will be injured before our second game.
