Look at the all the wear on the pitch after only the morning play! Looks like the Pakistani after picking only one seamer are all in spin knowing it was going to spin from ball one! So why not ask for a pitch like that in the first test match? 300 on this pitch be like 600+
 
Looking at the other spinners for Pakistan that have no wickets and England look comfortable I’m now thinking 250 ain’t enough 350+ be par and we ain’t getting that much be lucky to get 275
 
Assuming we’re all out in the next few overs, I think we’re at least 50 runs below par.

Looks like we should have picked another spinner.

It's been a mixture of good bowling and poor batting so I think 350 is probably what we should have been getting on this pitch. It's a joy to watch England at the moment because it's such a rollercoaster!
 
I suppose the one consolation is that if we were 9 down after 50 overs under the old regime this cameo by Wood would be pushing us past 150 rather than towards 300. Still below par but keeps us in the game.....just.
 
Bit of a brain fade from Leach and Anderson. Wood was looking dangerous there.

We will need to dismiss Pakistan for under 350 to stand a good chance of winning this game.
