I've sort of given up on any hope with this test and the rest of the series, Yes there have been some good periods and winning a test was special, but there have also been very poor periods and their quality has stood out over Englands.

Some of England's batsmen have been letting the team down, Root and Bairstow's batting has been shocking and should have been England's backbone

Bazball is much like communism in that regard - it's not been fully tried out yet...

If as soon as the 5th wicket fell, Crawley came back out and the game was England have 15 wickets btw... So it's now Stokes and Crawley having a smash. That would work. If that doesn't work, bring back Pope and Root to bat - give England 18 wickets.

Bazball is not a good way to play test cricket, YES, It's had its moments and worked, But it is like gambling and the odds are not in your favour, How many times do you win when the odds are not good?

Like it or not, it always comes down to the quality of bowling and good captaincy with field settings and the wicket, You can build up pressure and set up a player and he will give his wicket away, Also getting a Score on the board adds pressure to the batters chasing a score with playing Bazball its all or nothing,

Test cricket is and always be an endurance test of the best international cricketers, the ball, weather. wickets. conditions all play a major part. That is a skill over 5 days to win and maybe with a bit of luck thrown in
