Yep. I write with my left hand, but when I played cricket back in prehistoric times, I batted right handed. Same these days when I'm doing something like using a shovel, that requires two hands.

Back when I occasionally wandered cricket fields, I batted left and bowled right (well, I say batted, more stood with a piece of willow and hoped to make contact with the ball occasionally).

I assume from all that that humans are just weird.
