You know, ok, the pitch is doing fuck all, but Pakistan will surely be mentally very tired, and pretty dispirited — not just the bowlers. It wouldn't surprise me if their concentration was not of the best. It would be handy if England could pick up a couple of wickets (three?) between now and stumps.

It's has to do something for us to win this test match it's still flat as fuck and you could block on that pitch for a year

I'm aware of that, but it seems to me that there are exceptional cases, and that this was one of them.

I think they’d have let him go on to 365 but he needed to go for it at speed, unfortunately he got a top edge. I think that’s fair enough
