So Surrey haven't enforcrd the follow-on.

Lancs will face a big total in the fourth innings and will have to bat a lot better second time roiund. They can do it, as the conditions are good for batting. But Surrey's attack will make it difficult. Some heroic batting from Keaton Jennings is called for, I feel.
 
Surrey have batted Lancashire out of the game, so it will be a test to see if they can get through tonight unscathed. Foakes in good nick.

Hampshire have already won.

That’s the other lot.

Might be wrong, but I reckon there are six academy products in the Surrey side, five in the Lancashire side, and with Jordan Clark wearing the brown, then that’s actually six from each. Just shows the health of both academies.
 
The Burnley Express starting today, first and last game of the season. Hartley in for Parky.
 
Surrey currently have Hampshire at 85-4 but Middleton and Brown seem to have steadied the ship. Both have been dropped as well.
 
The Express has 2 wickets for 14 including A Cookie, and Double Bill gets another.

25-3 182 behind. Hopefully go through the lot while the ball is relatively new. Lanky will either get 4 points or 20.
 
Hampshire all out for 253. Maybe not what they were expecting when they chose to bat, but given they were 114-6 at one point, not too bad. Foakes rested with a minor back issue.
 
Even game at Chelmsford, Essex 8 down trail by 23 at lunch. All 57 overs right arm medium fast, where as Essex had 11 off spin as part of their 65.
