What is it with Marsh? That's 3 centuries now in 5 tests against England, yet he hasn't scored a century against anyone else in test cricket and only averages 27 with the bat for fuck's sake!

I was talking about this test. The bowlers did their job on a good batting wicket and they should have been 6 down for less than a 100 if our fielders could catch. Marsh should have been out for 12, Head for 9

Yes dropped catches have not helped, but you pick a bowling outfit to bowl at 100% in the test and Wood can not bowl enough because of fear of picking up another injury, Moeen Ail has not played test cricket for 2 years and comes back and gots dodgy fingers and Now Robinson pick up an injury

You're not going into a test match without a spinner, so it's not Ali.

Bairstow was the best batsman in the world last summer, so it's not him.

Stokes is the captain, so not him.

Woakes has to be there because Stokes can't bowl.

We got Warner, Khawaja, Smith and Labushagne out for 60 runs combined and people are still bitching.

Yeah Mitch Marsh might hit a few before he goes, but anything he can do Woakes, Stokes, Ali & Bairstow can do too.

Ali has averaged 16 since 2018. He shouldn't be in the team as he's effectively just made the tail longer and isn't a good enough spinner.

Marsh has been utterly destructive and really making that Root drop look terrible

What's frustrating the England fans so much isn't losing - people can live with that, albeit it's of course disappointing. But seeing a team packed with so much ability being undone by failing at the basics is just exasperating and feels so avoidable.

Pretty much sums it up for me.
