I understand why the Aussies are doing it and it’s working well for them, but so many fielders on the boundary right from the start, restricting 4’s big time, is that really good for the game and entertainment, might there come a time when test cricket has fielding restrictions imposed?

Agreed. We'll fluke a draw somewhere, thanks to the weather (it certainly won't be down to technical superiority over the colonials). 4-0, in my opinion.
