You still think we're evenly matched? No way would any England player think to do that. If they did, they'd be lauded on here. The Aussies have the mentality of doing what it takes to win, whether you want to call it smart/cheating/whatever. Plus, they're simply a better team than us. Better batsmen, better bowlers, better game management. It sucks.

As I said before, Jim, fairly evenly matched, and I did concede that the Australians have the better departments, though that is also due to English selection mistakes. One of the reasons Australia did what they did was because they sense that the game is close and they desperately want to win. They should have withdrawn the appeal but I'm of a different character.

If that run out had happened to Duckett I think we’d have a chance, with Bairstow coming in fired up like Stokes.

But I just don’t think Broady can stick around all day no matter how pumped up he is, and Stokes is batting more like a “going down swinging” than he’s going to get a 200 to win the match.

Incredible by stokes. Fair play to him called him out re his batting but this has been brilliant. Feel he will get caught soon though!

I’ll have to hold my hands up to as I questioned his batting & bowling! He bowled a tremendous spell yesterday and has been immense today, I will add (agreeing with Pieterson) we have been too nice and I’m glad we’ve now turned it up a notch, even though it’s the Aussies who have poked the bear & not by our own volition, hopefully Ben doesn’t get himself out before lunch!

Just seen an angle of when Carey threw the ball the umpire was in the process of handing Greens cap back so surely that's a dead ball and end of over isn't it?
