The top one was a legitimate attempt at a stumping and not against the spirit of the game whatsoever. The middle one involved a huge appeal for LBW and he was stumped while out of his crease. I can't open the last tweet so can't comment on those but those first two are in no way similar to what happened yesterday. The ball was clearly live on both occasions and neither involved the umpire handing the bowler his cap back to signify the end of the over.

From the footage I've see of yesterday, the umpire appeared to be in the process of turning round to the bowler to hand his cap back as Carey threw the ball at the stumps

To give it full context, some people are claiming that Bairstow’s was different because Labuschagne was taking guard outside the crease.

I personally just think that’s looking for any excuse to differentiate between the two, for people already committed to bad sportsmanship point of view.

I’m more annoyed at Bairstow than any of the Australians.

Are you annoyed at Bairstow for his failed run out attempt on Lambuschagne or for getting himself runout/stumped by prematurely walking from the crease
