Spot on. On a Sunday afternoon with a few beers inside you it's blatant cheating as usual by the scummy convict Aussie cricket team. On a Monday morning it's "Bairstow you stupid fool you've just thrown the Ashes."To give it full context, some people are claiming that Bairstow’s was different because Labuschagne was taking guard outside the crease.
I personally just think that’s looking for any excuse to differentiate between the two, for people already committed to bad sportsmanship point of view.
I’m more annoyed at Bairstow than any of the Australians.
No way England can claim the whiter than white high ground here. Especially Bairstow who tried it - although slightly different - earlier in the game. Stokes and McCullum were a bit embarrassing in their interviews saying they would have withdrawn the appeal and it's not the way to win a game. No they wouldn't. It's like diving for a penalty in the last minute of the World Cup Final. If it was your team doing it you'd turn a blind eye and find an excuse to justify it.
