I don’t think either side is as good as some would have us believe, and India should be a much stiffer challenge.

Agreed Jim. As stated, once we washed, ironed and wore our mojo we were there.
Just shows how important every Test is.
We can improve too, no doubting that.

There's been great cricket from both sides and both sides have had some shockers as well. Both have had batting collapses and some nightmares in the field.

The end result was pure sporting drama.

And that is why test cricket is still THE format. The 20 and 50 over stuff is fine, and I understand the appeal of it (having a match that finishes in one day. But you can't get better than what we've seen this summer.

We could very easily have won all 5 tests. 2005 was great but in my opinion, we didn’t outplay the Aussie’s quite as much in that series.
