Just looking at the weather forecast for today‘s women’s ODI.

It looks as though they have a 4 hour window before heavy rain returns.

Should cricket look at the radar and say we’re going to have a 30 over match, rather than the inevitable first innings of 50 overs being completed, before the match being abandoned after 10 overs of the second innings?

It’d make more sense, although there isn’t the 100% guarantee of the forecast being right.
