That is the perfect ball against Root short of a length moving he alway nibbles at it! What’s frustrating from that knick from root is the ball was going to go well over the stumps should leant to read the length better! Maybe because he wasn’t in!?

Oh god. Root was brilliant yesterday with the bat. Finding the gaps and just looking at ease. He owed us a tonne for the dropped catches! Not sure if there's anything in his overnight record, I'm pretty sure he came back overnight last year and kicked on but generally he seems to be shaky starting again the next day...might just be in my head. Where's Zaltz?
