I wish he could convert these starts into big innings, but he’s doing his bit.

You guys keep getting worked up that Crawley gets 30-40 runs when that’s all we need from him. He’s stuck around for 20 overs, seen off the new ball, scored decent runs and now Root and Brook aren’t facing a new ball.

Honestly he’s batted better and more consistently than Duckett across this whole series so far - though Duckett did score well at Lords.
