Have got highlights of the WBBL eliminator on right now (Brisbane Heat vs Sydney Thunder), while I'm waiting for the football. Now, I realise that women's cricket doesn't draw the crowds that the men's game does. But there's frig all of a crowd there, for what I'm assuming (?) is a relatively important game, being an eliminator. I had heard a while ago that the Big Bash has suffered a slump in attendances, but I'm shocked to see such a poor attendance

It looks like the WBBL has quite small attendances - 6500 for last year's final.

Got home from the match, and they needed 90 at 2 an over, feel like I've jinxed it , Atkinson was impressive in the 2 overs I saw

Horrible economy from Curran and Carse. Both better with the bat than bowling.

Just too much cricket these days. I preferred it when it the ODIs were part of the main test tour, especially with tests over the Xmas period. This tour seems particularly uninteresting to me.
