The problem is, and it is a problem, is he gets out the same way nearly every innings after having made a decent start, he didn't need to play at that ball, and it wasn't the first to be played at this morning that could just be left alone, we don't need to score 5 an over today, bat sensibly we'll have it won before the rain turns up.
I accept that. I just think there has been a lot of poor batting performances in this England side across this series and his has been frustrating in that he hasn’t capitalised on good positions, but I think he’s far from the worst out there. He’s not the reason we’re 2-0 down, if everybody else were doing their jobs well he’d be doing fine without doing anything spectacular.
