Could do with a couple of early wickets with the new ball. Looks like the best time to bat in the game so far. Doesn't seem to be that much movement off the pitch now, and blue skies above.
 
Pity the time difference because New Zealand England test matches usually good with England like wickets! Looks done this test match too chasing probably 150/175 max
 
Brilliant day for England. Fine batting from Brook and the lower order pair of Carse and Atkinson. The latter two scored 80 between them at 7or8 an over. Stokes, short of runs recently, kept a watching brief albeit with the odd swish. He was ninth out for 80. Carse and Woakes then made major inroads and the win should be wrapped up on Day 4.

Back to the cricket seems there’s not a lot of appetite for SA v Sri Lanka which is a pity, Durban whilst not a patch on Cape Town is a pretty nice place.
 
I know everyone is supposed to bat 1 to 11 these days, but how many more ‘recognised batsmen’ have they got left to come in?
