Not being funny, but if he can’t bowl, and he’s averaging probably below 30 with the bat since becoming captain, I’m not sure what he’s adding apart from vibes.

If England lose this match, a large part of it will be because they went in with only 4 bowlers and one of them got injured.

He has to bowl regularly or they need to rehire the team with him as a dedicated batsman.

We certainly have a knack of someone saying something ans being proven wrong a few minutes later in this test lol
